hi all

I've just started guildwars after a friend suggest i go n buy the game (+expansions) and so far its been great! Just one noob question:

I've just started a character on nightfall and im just wondering that once hes been created is he just limited to that campaign? Is there a way for me to travel to the other islands?

At a certain point in the Nightfall campaign (when you've reached the Consulate Docks through the storyline) you can travel to Tyria and Cantha. Also, at level 10 you can travel to Eye of the North if you have it.

When he gets to the mission Consulate Docks, he can transfer to other campaigns by way of a quest.

Just play the game and you'll get there soon enough.
